A client recently asked me what all of the letters that come after my name (on my business card and website) mean… we call those acronyms “the alphabet”!
Well, the alphabet represents the various certifications and designations Realtors received from the National Association of Realtors. They are earned by undertaking specialized training in certain skill sets that allow us to better represent our clients. After all, in most instances, buying or selling a home is going to be one of the biggest financial decisions my clients are ever going to make.
If someone is going to trust me with that responsibility, I believe they deserve the best effort I can give them – including learning everything I can possibly learn!
In my opinion, the most exhaustive designation a Realtor can earn is their GRI (meaning they have graduated from the Graduate Realtor Institute).
